* Tips for Podcasters with retrieving information from Garageband crashes. Remember that you can always retrieve your audio files from any Garageband file by holding down the *control* key and selecting *Show Package Contents.* There you will find a hidden folder called *Media* with all of your unsaved audio files in tact as AIFF files. Just pull them out and rebulild your composition better and stronger. Oh and press *save.*

  1. Hi Ben!

top 3 albums of the year for me were
Modest Mouse – Good News for People Who Love Bad News
    Franz Ferdinand – Franz Ferdinand
Loretta Lynn – Van Lear Rose (yes it's country – but produced by jack white – and simply lovely)

love the tree! check out my podcast – mass hysteria – http://home.comcast.net/~pjanderson/mahysteria/ – i'd love your thoughts.

  2. Maybe a bit cliche, but…
    3. Interpol – Antics
    2. Jet – Get Born
    1. The Killers – Hot Fuss

  3. Oops, I just double-checked my list and Jet was in 2003 (I dloaded it in 2004).
So, instead, The Killers, Interpol, and Modest Mouse.

  4. Hey Funtime Ben and Funtime Diane! Great Santa pic! Merry Christmas!!! Have a Wonderful Holliday's..(Whichever they may be) hope to meet you guys soon.

  5. I emailed you my top 3 in an email with other groovy things to say figured i would share with the others..
    My Top 3
Tom Vek – We Have Sound – Tummy Touch UK
    (this is amazing)
Tilly and The Wall – Wild Like Children
Duji – Save the Party 12" – Ragbull

  6. Hey Ben. Man I'm glad I found these podcasts of yours. So far I've liked most of the tracks that you play. I'm planning on picking up an album or two.

I won't try and post a top 3 list and lose what little street cred I have left. And I'm all about the street cred.

Journey and Chicago -DO- sound good though.

  7. hi funtime b.
found ya through mikey at loft405.
good stuff, i must say! will you be
    bringing older shows back?

my tops, not sure if they're 2004.
    1) ted leo/rx – shake the sheets
    2) arcade fire – funeral
    3) postal service – give up
