and why do the cable networks run the terror alert level across the bottom of the screen throughout the day? it's enough to make anyone stock up on bottled water.
Note to Subway Riders: It is not helpful, comforting or calming of you to not-so-quietly discuss possible gassings/bombings/suicide attacks on the subway…while I'm sitting next to you!
