    I think this new direction has definitely got legs. I like the idea of spending 20min or so going in to depth on a particular song.

    And you picked a great song to start with too. I was under the same impressions re: Otis cutting a James Brown-esque figure. After hearing how soon after he died, I totally get what you mean about it becoming a somewhat motivational tune.

    Hey Ben,

    I'm a (early-days listener and a) fan of the new format, including the part where you didn't spend too much time focusing on the fact that it was a new format. I found myself whistling along with Otis in that first cut, when he was audibly struggling to get a note out.

    PS – I for one, wouldn't be against you doing a fair number of "dead guy" episodes, if ya wanted to.
