New York City Transit Strike – Day 3

Well it’s all over. The strike is all but a fading memory in the collective sigh of New Yorkers everywhere.

I for one am particularly pleased, as my bicycle’s gear broke halfway through brooklyn today on my morning commute. Far more disturbing, was the story of an off duty firefighter who was struck on his morning commute.

I am very grateful to have the transit workers back on the job and will make sure to thank them everyday, although Diane has always done so… I guess it’s an important lesson for everybody.

Anyway, as you can imagine it’s going to be a little tough to get out a full podcast to you all this month, but I will put a little something together for christmas!
